An annual ranking of the best general secondary education institutions in Ukraine based on the results of an external independent evaluation in 2021.

Educational institutions in the table are ranked according to the rating score, which is calculated on the basis of the average value of EIT scores obtained by test participants in all subjects and taking into account the total number of tests taken by graduates of each school.
This year, the ranking is headed by the capital’s Lyceum “Intellect”, 79 graduates of which passed 276 external evaluation tests with an average score of 188.6.
In second place was the longtime leader of secondary education in terms of external evaluation – Lviv Physics and Mathematics Boarding Lyceum at LNU. Frank. 153 graduates of the lyceum, having passed 599 tests, received an average score of EIT at the level of 183.4.
Cherkasy Physics and Mathematics Lyceum became the bronze prize-winner of this year’s rating thanks to the results of its graduates. 62 participants in the external evaluation passed 219 tests and received an average of 185.2 points.
The fourth step of the rating is Ivano-Frankivsk Lyceum. Mikoli Sabata.
The fifth place for the educational institution was won by graduates of the capital lyceum “Scientific change”.
Kharkiv Physical and Mathematical Lyceum ?27 took sixth place in the ranking. On the seventh place of a rating – graduates of the Kyiv lyceum “Prestige”.
Kyiv Natural Science Lyceum ?145 took eighth place in the ranking.
The results of the external evaluation of the graduates of the private metropolitan school “Key School” allowed the educational institution to take the ninth position in the ranking of the best schools in Ukraine.
The tenth place in the ranking list this year was taken by the Educational Complex ?12 from Dnipro.
In general, the top twenty educational institutions in Ukraine according to the results of the External Evaluation conducted in 2021 included schools in Kyiv, Dnipro, Lviv, Cherkasy, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kharkiv, and Odesa.
The best educational institution representing small towns of Ukraine is the Kalush lyceum named after Bakhmatyuk, the results of whose graduates allowed him to occupy the 28th position of the all-Ukrainian rating.
In addition to the all-Ukrainian rating of schools in Ukraine, the ratings of schools in all regional centers and regions of Ukraine, as well as the ratings of schools in some subjects of external independent evaluation were also published.
Lviv region became the leader of the rating according to the results of external evaluation among oblasts. The second and third places were taken by Volyn and Sumy regions, respectively.
In general, high test results were demonstrated by graduates of educational institutions of Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Rivne regions.
Among the regional centers, Lviv took first place according to the results of the external evaluation of graduates, Kyiv and Rivne took second and third places.
Graduates of Kharkiv, Ternopil, and Cherkasy also showed high test results.
It should be noted that the results of external independent evaluation of each participant are influenced by a number of factors, among which, in addition to the quality of the educational process in the educational institution, such important as the type and location of the institution, teaching staff, financial status, and level of education. learning conditions, independent preparation for testing, receiving additional paid educational services, etc.
