In Ukraine, 2.284 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase per day on August 28 – 1.9 thousand, a slight decrease compared to the day before. More than 770 people were hospitalized per day, which is more than the day before. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

“For the day of August 28, 2021, in Ukraine recorded 1906 new confirmed cases of coronavirus COVID-19 (including children – 134, health workers – 40),” – said in a statement.
Also for the past 24hrs:
- 772 people were hospitalized;
- fatalities – 34;
- recovered – 685 people.
During the day, 18,344 people were tested:
- by PCR,
- 3,661 people by ELISA, – 16,859 people by
rapid tests.
During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:
- 2,284,191 people became ill;
- 2,206,392 people recovered;
- fatalities – 53,720;
- PCR tests were performed – 11,949,470.
Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kyiv (240), Kharkiv (156), Dnipropetrovsk (140), Kyiv (134), and Donetsk (132) oblasts.
