In Ukraine, 2.286 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase over the day on August 30 – more than 1.3 thousand, almost doubling against the figure the day before. 470 people were hospitalized per day, which is less than the day before. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

“As of August 30, 2021, 1,356 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have been recorded in Ukraine,” the Ministry of Health said.
Also for the past day:
470 people were hospitalized;
fatalities – 51;
1 257 people recovered.
tested: by PCR – 21,236 people, by ELISA – 7,031 people, by rapid tests – 17,747 people.
During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:
fell ill – 2,286,296 people;
recovered – 2,207,940 people;
fatalities – 53,789;
PCR tests were performed – 11,980,323.
Of the patients for the past day: children – 75, health workers – 31.
Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kyiv (204), Kharkiv (144), Odesa (127), Luhansk (106), and Chernivtsi (87) oblasts.
According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 18th in distribution and 19th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.
