In Ukraine, 2.29 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase of 24.5 per day on September 1, an increase of almost 20% against the figure the day before. More than 780 people were hospitalized per day, which is less than the day before. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

“As of September 1, 2021, 2,477 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine,” the Ministry of Health said.
Also for the past day:
787 people were hospitalized;
fatalities – 44;
889 people recovered.
tested: by PCR – 23,522 people, by ELISA – 7,954 people, by rapid tests – 22,239 people.
During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:
fell ill – 2,290,848 people;
recovered – 2,209,754 people;
fatalities – 53,877;
PCR tests were performed – 12,031,985.
Of the patients for the past day: children – 179, health workers – 36.
Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kyiv (309), Kharkiv (224), Lviv (183), Chernivtsi (148), and Odesa (139) oblasts.
According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 18th in distribution and 19th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.
