The Taliban have already appointed governors, police chiefs, and provincial and district police chiefs. The executive branch can also be headed by Mullah Abdul-Ghani Baradar or Mullah Yakub, and the supreme judge can be Mullah Abdul Hakim Hakkani.
“The Islamic Emirate operates in every province. In each province, there is a governor who has started working. There is a police chief in each district who works for the people, ”said Abdul Hanan Hakani, a Taliban spokesman.
Although the Taliban say consultations on forming a new government are nearing completion, no public discussion has been held on the name of the system, national flag, or national anthem.
