The head of the Ukrainian-Arab Association of Businessmen and Investors, Muhammad Salim al-Atti, accompanied by a delegation from the association, visited the Ukrainian Ministry of Finance, where he and the accompanying delegation were received by Vladimir Karol, Head of Inspection and Accurate Documents Department, and Andrei Takalenko, Head of the Governmental Center for Gems.

During the meeting, they talked about the goals, strategies, and foundations set by the Association since its inception and aimed at strengthening Ukrainian-Arab relations; And for the association to serve as a road map that paves the way for Arab investment in Ukraine, in order to take advantage of the many investment opportunities that Ukraine offers to investors; Where it stands out in the forefront of the ease of obtaining agricultural and industrial production inputs, and what God has bestowed on them from the atmosphere and the wonderful nature that made it an important station for those looking for tourism investment, in addition to the technical and technical cadres produced by its educational institutions, which supply the labor market with professional cards with high efficiency. Ukraine provides a fertile investment environment for those looking for promising investment opportunities.
During the meeting, the two sides talked about strategies and future visions for building real partnerships with the Arab world, which aims to focus on all aspects related to Ukraine, and put it before Arab investors wishing to invest in Ukraine.
The two parties also discussed how to find an organized mechanism to introduce scientific institutions in Ukraine and to find effective solutions that would make it easier for those wishing to study to obtain the information they need, guiding them to the registration mechanism and helping them choose the most demanded specialties in the labor market.
It was also agreed that the association would receive Arab and African students wishing to learn the sciences related to gemstones “that Ukraine is rich in” and how to deal with and distinguish them, in addition to conducting laboratory tests and analyzes that determine the quality and value of gemstones, whether they are natural, original, or fake artificial, and the issuance of certificates necessary.
On the sidelines of the meeting, a cooperation agreement was signed between the two parties related to the readiness of the Government Center for Gemstones to receive students and provide them with a suitable learning environment.
The two sides also agreed to define joint strategies centered on intensifying efforts to organize visits to companies and individuals working in the field of precious stones and stones to introduce them to the center, and the most prominent available stones such as amber, diamonds, and jewelry companies to participate in the Ukrainian-Arab International Exhibition for which the Association is preparing, which will be launched in June next year. 2022 so that everyone can display their products and conclude contracts and deals with interested Arab and African visitors and participants who will come to participate in the exhibition and conference.
At the end of the visit, Andrei accompanied Al-Atti and the accompanying delegation on a tour to get acquainted with the laboratories and departments and see the advanced equipment specialized in conducting these tests, which determine the type and condition of the stones.
It is noteworthy that the State Gemstone Center is one of the most important centers of the Ukrainian Ministry of Finance specialized in precious stones and jewelry, affiliated to the Ministry of Finance, and is closely linked to strong relationships and partnerships with institutions and research centers in this regard inside and outside Ukraine, and during the next phase and within the center’s future policy Contribute to the establishment of centers in Arab and African countries to train students and issue certificates related to the goals of the center.
