According to her, the document opened a number of new opportunities for Ukraine.
“It’s more opportunities and more potential. And what content this agreement will be filled with depends on us, ”the People’s Deputy said on the talk show“ Right to Power ”.
The signed agreement, among other things, concerns the security of the Black Sea region, Vereshchuk continued.
“Or, for example, participation in anti-terrorist initiatives. By the way, I will mention Kabul, the brilliant special operation of our GUR, MFA, OP, which saved people. We have shown that we know how to defend and work together for the result, ”she added.
Last week, Canada’s largest newspaper, The Globe and Mail, published an article about the evacuation from Afghanistan, describing the “fearless operation” of the Ukrainian military, during which 19 Afghan translators were evacuated from Kabul airport to Kyiv, including one and another – worked for the Canadian Ministry of Defense.
Over the past few weeks, Ukraine has organized six evacuation flights in unprecedentedly difficult conditions, which took out more than 650 people.
This is one of the highest rates of successful operations among foreign nations whose citizens need assistance in Afghanistan.
