As of today, Belarusians can go to study or work abroad across the land border once every three months, previously they could do it once every six months. This is provided by a government decree, which came into force on Saturday, according to the State Border Committee of Belarus.

“The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus reduces the period of departure from the country for citizens of Belarus from six to three months on each of the following grounds – study in a foreign country, a valid document confirming the right to permanent or temporary residence in a foreign country, work abroad the state, ”the statement said.
In connection with the innovations, the State Border Committee reminded of the main moments of crossing the Belarusian land border at checkpoints in the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. In particular, the term of self-isolation after arrival in the republic from the countries of the “red zone” is 7 days, while citizens who have a certificate of vaccination from COVID can avoid self-isolation.
