In Ukraine, 2.3 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase over the day on September 6 – almost 2.2 thousand, a sharp jump against the figure the day before. More than 480 people were hospitalized per day, which is less than the day before. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

“For the day of September 6, 2021, in Ukraine, 2,197 new confirmed cases of coronavirus COVID-19 were recorded,” the Ministry of Health said.
Also for the past day:
485 people were hospitalized;
fatalities – 53;
1,429 people recovered.
tested: by PCR – 22,596 people, by ELISA – 7,811 people, by rapid tests – 17,992 people.
During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:
fell ill – 2,300,504 people;
recovered – 2,214,606 people;
fatalities – 54,054;
PCR tests were performed – 12,131,185.
Of the patients for the past day: children – 197, health workers – 37.
Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kyiv (304), Lviv (165), Kharkiv (163), Dnipropetrovsk (151), and Zaporizhia (149) oblasts.
According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 18th in distribution and 19th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.
