Actor Jean-Paul Belmondo has died at the age of 89. This was reported by AFP with reference to the artist’s lawyer. According to him, Belmondo “quietly died” at his home in Paris.

Jean-Paul Belmondo was the brightest representative of the French cinema of the “new wave” of the ’60s.
