In Ukraine, 2.303 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase over the day on September 7 – almost 2.8 thousand, a quarter more than the day before. More than a thousand people were hospitalized per day, twice as many as the day before. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

“For the day of September 7, 2021, in Ukraine, 2,772 new confirmed cases of coronavirus COVID-19 were recorded,” the Ministry of Health said.
Also for the past day:
hospitalized – 1,017 people;
fatalities – 60;
1 411 people recovered.
tested: by PCR – 28,990 people, by ELISA – 8,110 people, by rapid tests – 30,291 people.
During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:
fell ill – 2,303,276 people;
recovered – 2,216,017 people;
fatalities – 54,114;
PCR tests were performed – 12,160,175.
Of the patients for the past day: children – 254, health workers – 46.
Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kyiv (348), Kharkiv (248), Chernivtsi (197), Zaporizhia (178), and Lviv (157) oblasts.
According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 18th in distribution and 19th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.
