This was stated by the Federal Chancellor of Austria Sebastian Kurz in an interview with ORF.a t.
According to him, the end of quarantine does not mean that COVID-19 has disappeared. He reminded that, according to scientists, the virus will remain for several years. Kurtz said that a lockdown for vaccinated citizens will not be introduced.
“The time of isolation must be over,” the politician said.
At the same time, he pointed out that citizens who refused to be vaccinated should be prepared for restrictions.
“There will be no restrictions for those who are vaccinated,” he said.
As of September 6, 62.6% of the population in the country received one dose of the vaccine, and 59.2% of citizens received the full course of vaccination. Thus for the last days, 605 new cases are revealed.
On July 14, EU ambassadors approved a decision to include Ukraine in the list of third countries from which entry is allowed.
