The Ministry of Health has decided to postpone the introduction of the ” yellow ” level of epidemic danger. In the coming days, all educational institutions in the country will continue to operate as usual according to the rules of the ” green ” level of epidemic danger.

This was announced by Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko, commenting on the possibility of imposing restrictions on the work of educational institutions in which less than 80% of employees are vaccinated.
According to him, the decision to establish a ” yellow ” level should be made by the National Commission for Man-Made Safety and Emergencies, which will meet no earlier than a week after consideration of this issue by the Cabinet of Ministers.
“Only when the resolution comes into force, which is 7 days from the date of its consideration by the government, we propose to convene a meeting of the National Commission for Man-Made Safety and Emergencies to establish a ” yellow ” level of epidemic danger. Until then, all, including educational institutions, continue to work according to the rules of the ” green ” level, “the minister said.
He also stressed that currently in Ukraine, although there is an excess of the national indicator of positive tests among all tested and the tendency to increase hospitalizations of patients with COVID-19, the situation is not critical.
“The situation is not critical, mainly rapid changes in indicators are explained by the law of small numbers when changes in absolute numbers show large changes in relative numbers. Therefore, following the practice of European countries and the United States, we propose to bring the quality of life of the vaccinated population closer to normal, “said Viktor Lyashko.
He also noted that the Ministry of Health is working with other ministries to change the quarantine regulations to strike a balance between protecting the population from the coronavirus and its well-being.
In particular, it is envisaged that most of the restrictions provided for in the ” yellow ” and ” red ” levels of epidemic danger will not apply if groups and visitors are vaccinated.
At the same time, one dose of the vaccine will be enough for the ” yellow ” level of epidemic danger, and for the ” red ” level – a full course of vaccination will be required.
As an example, the work of educational institutions in the ” yellow ” level of epidemic danger will not be limited, provided that 80% of teachers have documents certifying vaccination against COVID-19 with at least one dose.
It is known that earlier Victor Lyashko reported about the probability of introduction of “yellow” level of epidemic danger in the territory of the country already on September 13.
