More than 12,000 Hasidim, who arrived in Uman to celebrate Rosh Hashanah, left Ukraine in organized groups yesterday, September 9. The assistant to the chairman of the State border service of Ukraine – the press secretary Andrey Demchenko told about it.

“Organized groups (left Ukraine – ed.) 12.5 thousand (Hasidim – ed.)”, – said Demchenko.
Earlier, Demchenko said that the mass return home of Hasids who arrived in Uman to celebrate Rosh Hashanah is expected from September 9.
This year, more than 29,000 Hasidic pilgrims arrived in Uman to celebrate Rosh Hashanah. The coming of the new 5 782 Jewish years was celebrated from 6 to 8 September.
Cherkasy police have already opened three criminal proceedings against Hasids: two for violating the conditions of stay in the city by pilgrims and one administrative protocol – for violating traffic rules.
In addition, in Uman, Hasidim, who came to the city to celebrate Rosh Hashanah, wanted to have a barbecue on the balcony and started a fire.
