Denmark intends to lift all restrictions on coronavirus on Friday, September 10, making it the first EU country.

“Vaccines and the great efforts of all Danish citizens over such a long period are the basis of why we are strong,” Health Minister Magnus Heinke said on Twitter this week. The Danish health authorities approved the move in late August, saying the virus was “no longer a critical threat to society” due to high levels of vaccination and low incidence of serious illness and death.
There will no longer be a “coveted pass” in the country to enter restaurants, sports centers, or nightclubs, and children will no longer be automatically sent home if they are in close contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case.
Only the infected should be quarantined. People can return to the office as usual, and schools switch to full-time education.
In July, Denmark lifted entry restrictions for Ukrainians. Citizens of Ukraine must submit only a valid negative PCR test, which must be done no more than 72 hours before arrival in the country, or an antigen test within 48 hours.
