The Japanese project Worldflags creates anime images of different countries of the world, depicting them in the form of samurai with recognizable national symbols. He presented the project and his vision of the image of Ukraine, having published it on his Instagram.

The character, named Sheva-Kun, is depicted in the colors of the Ukrainian flag: in a yellow kimono and with bright blue hair. In his hands, he holds a battle trident.
“Ukrainian Shevchenko, completely ready! Members of the World flags project call it “Sheva-Kun”. This is a common surname in Ukraine, and “-nko”, “-ko” means “descendant,” say the authors of the image.
The Worldflags project says that it is not directly related to the Olympic Games in Tokyo but rather is aimed at getting to know the national flags of different countries of the world, their origin, meaning, and other details. In addition to the images themselves, the authors of the project also create manga and anime.
