Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal received a special award dedicated to the Ukrainian community at the official closing ceremony of the 30th Economic Forum in Karpacz, Poland.

The Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Polish House of Representatives, Marek Kuczynski, presented the award to the Head of the Ukrainian Government.
Jan Maliki, head of the Center for Eastern European Studies at the University of Warsaw, said the award “is dedicated to the Ukrainian people for their endurance.” This statement received long applause from several hundred participants in the forum.
According to Maliki, the past few years have been difficult for Ukrainians due to Russian aggression, and the threat continues. “This is a community that is struggling,” he said.
“I thank Poland for its solidarity and support for an independent Ukraine,” Shmyhal said upon receiving the award.
Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Jansa received the Man of the Year award at the Karpacz Economic Forum.
In addition, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki presented awards to Polish activists in Belarus, Andzylika Boris, and Andrei Bokzopot, who are currently being held in a Belarusian prison. The award was given to their colleagues who were forced to leave for Poland.
