In Ukraine, there is still a very small number of educational institutions whose teams have reached the required level of vaccination.

This was stated in a comment to the Public by the head of the main department of general secondary and preschool education of the Ministry of Education and Science Yuriy Kononenko.
According to him, as of September 10, only 35% of employees of secondary schools are fully vaccinated.
At the same time, the official noted that the Ministry of Education takes into account only teachers who have been vaccinated.
” We do not count vaccinated schools, we count the number of employees of educational institutions who are vaccinated. So full two doses or one dose if the vaccine provides only a single dose vaccination, vaccinated 35% of employees of secondary education “, – he said.
He noted that the best situation is with the vaccination of teachers in the Kyiv region, where 56% of educators received two vaccinations. The worst indicators are in Volyn and Zaporizhia oblasts – about 20% of teachers received the drug there.
” If there are schools where 80% are vaccinated, then there are literally only a few. So far, we are trying to actively promote, to explain that it is extremely important that teachers are at risk and need to be vaccinated. But perhaps very few schools have achieved here this mark 80% “, – said Kononenko.
