“The morning in Kyiv starts not only with traffic jams but also in the subway. This is the situation that arose today at the Minsk station. The reason was the failure of two terminals on turnstiles,” the statement said.
According to Kyiv Operative, a significant concentration of people was also noticed at the Teremky metro station.
“At this rate, we will soon need special people (axles – to help passengers board boarding overcrowded railroad cars and subways – ed.), Who will ram people inside the car, as in Japan,” – said in a caption to the photo.
A similar failure in the work of terminals in the Kyiv metro
On August 30, a crash occurred in the Kyiv metro. Problems arose in the fare system, which made it difficult for passengers to replenish transport cards and pay for one-time trips.
The reason for the problems with the purchase of an e-ticket was the desynchronization with the database.
“As a result, the core of the system did not interact with external software components. In particular, the option of replenishing wallets, transport cards, and purchasing disposable QR-tickets did not work for passengers,” the statement said.
At the same time, previously purchased e-tickets worked properly.
