With more than 20 years of experience in various management and leadership roles in a hospitality house, Al-Otaibi has been distinguished by his many accomplishments. Having previously served as Vice President of Property and Assets, he demonstrated his far-sighted strategic planning and smart decision-making by maximizing the returns of the company’s real estate asset portfolio.
As the General Manager of Makarim Hospitality Group, Al-Otaibi oversaw the overall management of the group’s properties (hotels and resorts) to ensure smooth operations, harnessing his organizational and team management skills to oversee world-class hospitality standards.
In recognition of his achievements in the industry, Al-Otaibi was previously ranked 25th in the Hotelier Middle East Magazine Power 50 list. He is also known for his active participation and contributions as a member of the Tourism Committee of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce.
Al-Otaibi distinguished himself as a successful and influential figure in Dur Hospitality for his distinguished capabilities and extensive experience in this field, leading by example and leading the company to new heights to achieve the company’s strategic goals in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
Driven by his passion for the hospitality industry, Al-Otaibi enriched his background in the field by obtaining a Master’s degree in International Hospitality Management from the Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management, after obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from King Saud University. In his pursuit of higher education, he continued to study at Cornell University, an Ivy League research university in Ithaca, New York.
