In Ukraine, 2.355 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase over the day, September 20, – 5.1 thousand, more than doubling against the figure the day before. More than a thousand people were hospitalized per day, which is less than the day before. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

“For the day of September 20, 2021, in Ukraine, 5,159 new confirmed cases of coronavirus COVID-19 were recorded,” the Ministry of Health said.
Also for the past day:
hospitalized – 1,086 people;
fatalities – 137;
2,156 people recovered.
tested: by PCR – 30,563 people, by ELISA – 7,718 people, by rapid tests – 25,692 people.
During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:
fell ill – 2,355,805 people;
2,233,573 people recovered;
fatalities – 55,056;
PCR tests were performed – 12,515,008.
Of the patients for the past day: children – 463, health workers – 129.
Over the past 24hrs, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Lviv (518), Kharkiv (486), Dnipropetrovsk (422), Odesa (419) oblasts, and the city of Kyiv (399).
According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 19th in distribution and 19th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.
