Immigrants from Donbas live in Odesa in unauthorized non-residential buildings of the regional municipal enterprise “Obltransbud” on Uspenskaya, 4, reports “Dumskaya”. Sometime after the lane was blocked, one of the protesters broke into the building of the Odessa Regional State Administration and climbed out the window. The displaced man threatened to leave the third floor if the lights were not turned on in the house where they live, and then the man began to demand the resignation of the head of the regional state administration Serhiy Hrynevetsky because “the authorities do not protect people.” The settler was in this condition for about an hour and a half. Police, ambulance, and rescuers arrived at the scene.
At the moment when journalists gathered in front of the administration building, regional state administration officials led by Serhiy Hrynevetsky became more active in negotiations and even once were able to return the protester to the premises, but the displaced man went out on the windowsill again and climbed on the air conditioner. Eventually, they managed to persuade him, and the man went inside.
