The official Saudi Press Agency reported that Prince Faisal bin Farhan met the Saudi foreign minister on Friday with the US special envoy for Iran, Robert Malley.

The two officials met on the sidelines of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
During the meeting, they discussed enhancing joint action and developments related to the nuclear program.
Iran has been urged to quickly return to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) negotiations in Vienna to reduce tensions over Tehran’s nuclear program.
