Blush is a very underestimated product because we often forget about its use in daily makeup. And we do it in vain because it is a light natural blush that can refresh the image, give the face a healthier and more relaxed look, and even help to visually “drop” a couple of years. But you should choose the product very carefully: any mistake with a shade or texture will provide the exact opposite effect and makeup will be hopelessly spoiled. We tell you how to find your perfect blush and how to use them correctly.

How to choose a color
Finding the perfect shade of blush that will look natural and adorn you is not so easy. Make-up artists have many special schemes and color types, according to which, for example, owners of light skin with a cold undertone should pay attention to cold pink shades, with warm – on coral, and girls with dark skin – to choose from brown-orange shades. But, to tell the truth, these schemes are too many, and some of them contradict each other.
So how then to find your perfect shade? It’s quite simple: you need to determine the tone of your natural blush. Ironically, it almost always coincides with the shade of the lips (especially their mucous membranes), so you can safely focus on it. An even simpler way – you can just lightly pinch your cheeks, and your natural blush will appear immediately.
How to determine the texture
The right texture of the blush is no less important than the right shade, but it is much easier to pick it up. First of all, you should consider the type of skin: if your skin is very dry and flaky, try a cream blush – dry textures not only do not fall on it but also emphasize all the imperfections. But for owners of oily skin, on the contrary, it is better to look closely at the dry textures with a matte or satin finish – they will not emphasize the oily shine. If your skin type is closer to normal, and you are not worried about excessive dryness or excessive oiliness, you can safely choose the texture that is most convenient for you to use, or combine them depending on the effect you want to achieve.
How to apply correctly
The first and most important mistake that many people make is to use blush instead of contouring. The blush on your face should mimic a natural blush, and we do not blush from the temple to the corners of the lips. If you want to adjust the oval face, emphasize the cheekbones and chin, then first do it with a sculptor, and only then apply blush. Distribute the product on the cheekbones or on the protruding part of the cheekbones (but not together), you can also add a little on the tip of the nose. If the blush is in an unnatural place for him, the makeup will look sloppy and even a little comical.
It is better to apply blush with a large, moderately fluffy brush, moving from the bottom up. Cream textures fit better and are easier to shade, but hold worse. If you need to fix the cream blush on your face, walk on top of the dry blush of the same shade or a transparent fixing powder. In the case of a dry product, make sure that your skin is sufficiently moisturized and the foundation (if you use it) is carefully shaded. Otherwise, the makeup will stain and look sloppy.
