There Are Already 2.411 Million Cases of COVID-19 in Ukraine

In Ukraine, 2.411 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase over the day on September 28 – more than 9.6 thousand, an anti-record this fall. About 2.8 thousand people were hospitalized per day, more than doubling the figure compared to the previous day. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

“As of September 28, 2021, 9,666 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have been recorded in Ukraine,” the Ministry of Health said.

Also for the past day:

2,855 people were hospitalized;
fatalities – 217;
recovered – 3,281 people.
tested: by PCR – 42,132 people, by ELISA – 10,973 people, by rapid tests – 39,724 people.

During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:

fell ill – 2,411,622 people;
recovered – 2,251,352 people;
fatalities – 56,080;
PCR tests were performed – 12,783,263.

Of the patients for the past day: children – 953, nurses – 204.

Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kharkiv (976), Dnipropetrovsk (787), Donetsk (699), Odesa (662), and Zaporizhia (592) oblasts.

According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 19th in distribution and 19th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.
