In Ukraine, 2.42 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have been recorded, the increase for the day on September 29 – more than 11.7 thousand, the anti-record this fall – for the second day in a row. About 2,500 people were hospitalized per day, a high rate recently, but still less than the day before. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

“For the day of September 29, 2021, in Ukraine, 11,757 new confirmed cases of coronavirus COVID-19 were recorded,” the Ministry of Health said.
Also for the past day:
2,556 people were hospitalized;
fatalities – 194;
3,839 people recovered.
tested: by PCR – 46,604 people, by ELISA – 10,626 people, by rapid tests – 36,126 people.
During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:
fell ill – 2,423,379 people;
recovered – 2,255,191 people;
fatalities – 56,274;
PCR tests were performed – 12,829,867.
Of the patients for the past day: children – 1,054, health workers – 242.
Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kharkiv (1087), Lviv (927), Dnipropetrovsk (926), Odesa (752), and Donetsk (739) oblasts.
According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 19th in distribution and 19th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.
