2.43 Million Cases of COVID-19 in Ukraine

In Ukraine, 2.43 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase of 24,000 per day on September 30, a new anti-record this fall, such a figure has not been seen since the end of April. About 2.6 thousand people were hospitalized per day, which is more than the day before. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

“For the day of September 30, 2021, in Ukraine, 12,034 new confirmed cases of coronavirus COVID-19 were recorded,” the Ministry of Health said.

Also for the past day:

2,637 people were hospitalized;
fatalities – 172;
3,264 people recovered.
tested: by PCR – 89,002 people, by ELISA – 10,265 people, by rapid tests – 33,178 people.

During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:

fell ill – 2,435,413 people;
2,258,455 people recovered;
fatalities – 56,446;
PCR tests were performed – 12,875,426.

Of the patients for the past day: children – 1,059, health workers – 248.

Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kharkiv (1225), Lviv (794), Zaporizhia (770) Donetsk (745), and Dnipropetrovsk (725) oblasts.

According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 19th in distribution and 19th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.
