In Ukraine, 2.46 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase over the day, October 3, – 4.8 thousand, a decrease against the figure the day before, but traditional for the weekend. At the same time, 2,000 people were hospitalized per day, which is less than the day before. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

“For the day of October 3, 2021, in Ukraine recorded 4,821 new confirmed cases of coronavirus COVID-19,” – said the Ministry of Health.
Also for the past day:
hospitalized – 2,092 people;
fatalities – 114;
1,116 people recovered.
tested: by PCR – 16,214 people, by ELISA – 2,525 people, by rapid tests – 11,848 people.
During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:
fell ill – 2,460,010 people;
recovered – 2,264,523 people;
fatalities – 56,889;
PCR tests were performed – 12,966,892.
Of the patients for the past day: children – 448, health workers – 50.
Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kharkiv (592), Chernivtsi (410), Dnipropetrovsk (393), Zhytomyr (301), and Lviv (295) oblasts.
According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 19th in distribution and 19th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.
