At least nine people have died after a tropical cyclone “Shahin” hit Iran and Oman.

Iranian authorities say six people have died in a port in the southeastern provinces of Sistan and Baluchistan.
Official media reported that the infrastructure, including electrical facilities and roads, had been damaged.
Even before the cyclone hit Oman, three people, including a child, had already died in the floods.
Thousands were evacuated from Oman’s coastal areas. The streets of the capital Muscat were flooded. Yes, the photos from Muscat show cars submerged in water. Authorities in the capital have ordered the use of roads only for emergency travel.
The storm came to the region on Sunday, the wind hit the coast at a speed of 120 to 150 km / h.
