2.47 Million Cases of COVID-19 in Ukraine

In Ukraine, almost 2.47 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have been recorded, an increase over the day, October 4, – 9.8 thousand, an increase of twice the figure the day before. About 1.9 thousand people were hospitalized per day, which is less than the day before. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

“As of October 4, 2021, 9,846 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have been recorded in Ukraine,” the Ministry of Health said.

Also for the past day:

hospitalized – 1,881 people;

fatalities – 317;

4,229 people recovered.

tested: by PCR – 37,080 people, by ELISA – 8,762 people, by rapid tests – 28,283 people.

During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:

fell ill – 2,469,856 people;

recovered – 2,268,752 people;

fatalities – 57,206;

PCR tests were performed – 13,003,972.

Of the patients for the past day: children – 918, nurses – 207.

Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Dnipropetrovsk (992), Kharkiv (940), Odesa (809), Zaporizhia (667), and Donetsk (662) oblasts.

According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 19th in distribution and 19th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.
