Radhi Salem Al-Aslami is the Executive Technical Director of the Saudi Methanol Company (Al-Razi) since August of this year.

He began his career as a rotating engineer in the Operations Department of the Saline Water Conversion Corporation in Jubail, where he worked from 2001 to 2004. He rose through the ranks, gaining extensive experience and knowledge in technical fields.
Prior to his current role as CTO, he was a Senior Manager in the production department at Al Razi from 2008 to 2020.
He was Senior Manager of the Operations Engineering Department at Ibn Zohr between 2016 and 2018, Senior Manager of the MTBE Production Department from 2013 to 2016, and Senior Manager of the Environment, Health, Safety and Security Department between 2010 and 2013. Positions at Ibn Zohr prior to that, including Operations Engineer Senior and Production Engineer.
His major achievements include establishing a system to improve the environment, health, safety, and security culture of Ibn Zohr, whose work led to him being number one in this field among 17 SABIC subsidiaries in 2012.
Lead the operations department, help solve plant technical problems and improve plant reliability and optimization performance.
He also led the Ibn Zohr team to achieve the highest ranking in a behavior-based safety culture among SABIC affiliates and developed an occupational health and management system at Ibn Zohr.
He received his Bachelor’s degree in Applied Chemical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Dhahran in 2001.
