The fire broke out on Tuesday at a fireworks factory in the Japanese city of Otaru (northern Hokkaido prefecture).

According to police, at about 10 a.m. (local time) on the 5th, a fire broke out at the Hokukai Smoke Fire factory in Masakai, 2nd city of Otaru.
The extinguishing work was completed about an hour and a half later when the fire was extinguished.
According to police, a total of three men, one male employee aged 60 and two male employees aged 40, were injured and taken to hospital.
It is reported that all three were conscious when they were transported, but one employee at the age of 40 was seriously injured because he received burns all over his body.
Police and the fire department are investigating the cause of the fire.
