The Republic of Serbia has tripled the period of permitted stay of Ukrainians on its territory.

In particular, on October 15, 2021, the agreement on amendments to the agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Serbia on the waiver of visa requirements for citizens enters into force. The updated agreement provides for an increase in the period of permitted stay of citizens of Ukraine and the Republic of Serbia in the territory of the other party within the visa-free regime from 30 days for 60 days to 90 days for 180 days.
At the same time, under the conditions of visa-free travel between Ukraine and the EU, Ukrainian holders of biometric passports had the right to stay in Serbia for up to 90 days for 180 days.
It should be noted that current residents of Ukraine can enter Serbia if they have a negative PCR test for coronavirus performed during the last 72 hours. At the same time, Serbia does not recognize vaccination certificates issued in Ukraine.
The Ukrainian low-cost carrier SkyUp launched direct flights from Kyiv to the Serbian capital Belgrade.
