Al Wasl Plaza at Expo 2020 Dubai on Thursday presented two “immersive” shows as part of its three shows scheduled for the weekend.

The first, at 18:50 pm (UAE time), will be a 12-minute experience in honor of Emirati poet Arusha bint Khalifa Al Suwaidi with guests being taken on a journey into the mind of a 12-year-old girl and Shahd Qamar speaking.
The second, titled Harmony, which will be shown at 20:30 p.m., showcases a glowing ocean illusion brought to life by 252 laser shows on the dome’s surface.
The Return of Mr. Scrub is a 20-minute show on Friday at 18:40 p.m. and is geared towards parents and children with two main characters, Rasheed and Latifa.
The linking structure connects the three thematic areas of the Expo site, namely Sustainability, Mobility, and Opportunity, and its name also means connection and the historical name of Dubai.
The dome trellis frame is made of steel and took more than 800 engineers and technicians 14 months to complete. It is 130 meters wide, 67 meters high, and weighs more than 500 tons. The plaza stands near the UAE Pavilion and Dubai Metro.
