“Our colleague, People’s Deputy of the 9th convocation Anton Eduardovich Polyakov passed away tonight. We express our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Anton Eduardovich and ask you to honor the memory of our colleague with a minute of silence,” he said.
After that, the co-chairman of the deputy group “For the Future” Taras Batenko made a speech.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, earlier on Friday, Rada’s ESC-speaker Dmytro Razumkov said that Rada deputy Polyakov (“For the Future”) was found dead.
In addition, the police are not considering the version of Polyakov’s murder.
Three days before deathPolyakov said that money was handed out to the “servants” in the Rada’s toilet after voting for the law on oligarchs.
Also, Prosecutor General Irina Venediktova said that the taxi car in which the People’s Deputy Anton Polyakov died was seized, and the driver was being interrogated. All valuables, documents, and money remained with the people’s deputy.
