In Ukraine, 2.55 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase over the day on October 10 – more than 8.8 thousand, a decrease against the figure the day before, traditional on weekends. More than 2.6 thousand people were hospitalized per day, which is less than the day before. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

“For the day of October 10, 2021, in Ukraine recorded 8832 new confirmed cases of coronavirus COVID-19,” – said in a statement.
Also for the past day:
2,672 people were hospitalized;
fatalities – 207;
recovered – 2,053 people.
tested: by PCR – 23,675 people, by ELISA – 3,480 people, by rapid tests – 24,909 people.
During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:
fell ill – 2,550,089 people;
2,292,480 people recovered;
fatalities – 58,700;
PCR tests were performed – 13,277,259.
Of the patients for the past day: children – 863, health workers – 78.
Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kharkiv (1419), Dnipropetrovsk (765), Odesa (690), Zaporizhia (687), and Zhytomyr (510) oblasts.
According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 19th in distribution and 19th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.
