The American company Northrop Grumman Corp. for the first time published a video with a combat robotic vehicle EMAV-MCA (Expeditionary Modular Autonomous Vehicle – Medium Caliber Armament). It is armed with a Bushmaster XM813 rapid-fire cannon.

The video shows how the EMAV-MCA combat robot hits a steel plate with Northrop Grumman NG1170W Armor Piercing Fin Stabilized Discarding Sabot (APFSDS) 30 × 173 mm ammunition.
The combat vehicle is equipped with a hybrid power plant and can accelerate up to 72 km / h. It can be transported by V-22 convertible or CH-47 helicopter. It is noted that the robot with NG1170W shells, in theory, is able to destroy any lightly armored vehicles from the maximum possible distances.
Fans of military equipment note the striking resemblance of the new futuristic tank to the vintage British tank “Matilda” of the Second World War.
