In Ukraine, 2.56 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase over the day on October 11 – almost 12 thousand, an increase of more than a third compared to the day before. Almost 2.3 thousand people were hospitalized per day, which is slightly less than the day before. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

“As of October 11, 2021, 11,996 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine,” the statement reads.
Also for the past day:
2,274 people were hospitalized;
fatalities – 352;
5,419 people recovered.
During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:
fell ill – 2,562,085 people;
recovered – 2,297,899 people;
fatalities – 59,052;
PCR tests were performed – 13,323,492.
Of the patients for the past day: children – 1,262, health workers – 227.
Over the past 24hrs, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kharkiv (1502), Lviv (978), Dnipropetrovsk (856), Odesa (816), and Zaporizhia (715) oblasts.
According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 19th in distribution and 19th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.
