According to the Voice of America, this was reported by the Federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention of the US Department of Health (CDC).
However, the US government did not specify which vaccines will be taken.
A CDC spokesman told Reuters that “six vaccines approved by the US Food and Drug Administration or included in the WHO list for emergency use will meet the criteria for travel to the United States.”
On September 20, the White House announced that in November the United States would lift travel restrictions for passengers from 33 countries, including China, India, Brazil, and most of Europe, who had been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Vaccination against coronavirus
The United Nations and its World Health Organization have announced an ambitious plan to fully vaccinate 40 percent of the world’s population from COVID-19 by the end of the year and 70 percent by the middle of next year.
As of the end of September, Pfizer / BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, and Sinovac vaccines were among those approved by the World Health Organization or the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Among the vaccines not approved by the WHO are the Russian Sputnik and the Indian drug Covaxin.
