Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin space company will launch its New Shepard spacecraft today.

Due to the forecasted winds on Tuesday, October 12, the task force of the Blue Origin mission decided to postpone the launch of NS-18 and is now aimed at Wednesday, October 13.
Onboard the New Shepard will be Dr. Chris Boshuisen, a former NASA engineer and co-founder of Planet Labs, and Gen de Vries, Deputy Director of Planet Labs for Biomedical Sciences and Health, and co-founder of Medidata.
On August 26, the seventeenth space mission of the aerospace company Blue Origin and the eighth flight for the New Shepard rocket took place. NS-17 has demonstrated moon-landing technologies that may be used in the future.
