2.59 Million Cases of COVID-19 in Ukraine With 18,881 per Day

In Ukraine, 2.597 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase over the day, October 13, – 18.8 thousand, much more than the autumn anti-record set last week. At the same time, 4.6 thousand people were hospitalized per day, which is less than the day before. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

“In total for the day of October 13, 2021, in Ukraine recorded 18,881 new confirmed cases of coronavirus COVID-19 (including children – 1,748, health workers – 368),” – said in a statement;

Also for the past 24hrs:

– 4,633 people were hospitalized;

– fatalities – 412;

– 7,630 people recovered.

During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:

– 2,597,275 people fell ill;

– recovered – 2,311,991 people;

– fatalities – 59,935;

– PCR tests were performed – 13,442,985.

Quarantine to counter the spread of a new type of coronavirus in Ukraine was introduced on March 12, 2020. Then it was repeatedly continued and transferred to the form of adaptive quarantine in the summer.
