Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba spoke about whether the abolition of the visa-free regime for Ukraine by the European Union was being discussed.
Kyiv. Ukraine. Ukraine Gate – October 14, 2021 – Tourism and Travel
“I want to draw attention to what was not at yesterday’s summit (Ukraine – EU) – no public or non-public talks about any mythical threats to visa-free travel, about any failures of European Union policy in Ukraine. This is convincing evidence that fakes of some political forces or demotivating political statements that relations between Ukraine and the EU are in crisis and have no prospects, in fact, have nothing to do with reality, “Kuleba said.
He stressed that visa-free travel for Ukraine and its European integration does not threaten anything.
As Radio Svoboda previously reported, Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, and Slovakia have commented on the work of the liberalized visa regime with the Western Balkans, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine. In particular, several EU countries have said that Ukraine remains a “cause for concern”.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine noted that there are no threats for the citizens of Ukraine to abolish the visa-free regime with the European Union.
Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olga Stefanyshyna called the news of the possibility of abolishing the visa-free regime with the European Union insinuations.
The expert of the Ukrainian Institute of the Future Rostislav Smirnov noted that there is no threat of abolition of the visa-free regime with Ukraine by the European Union, talks about this are far from reality, it just hints.
