South Korea will abolish strict social distancing next week because it wants to teach people how to live with COVID-19.

From Monday, October 18, the South Korean government will allow no more than four people who have not been vaccinated against coronavirus to gather in one place.
In Seoul, the capital of South Korea, up to eight people will be allowed to gather if four of them are fully vaccinated. In other regions, it will be possible to gather up to 10 people.
In addition, outdoor sports will be allowed in front of the crowd if 30% of all spectators are fully vaccinated.
It is reported that the new rules will be in force until October 31.
Complete isolation has never been introduced in South Korea. However, from July this year, the country’s residents had to adhere to a strict social distance, in particular, after 18:00 it was not possible to gather in one place more than two people.
On October 14, 1,684 new cases of COVID-19 infection were recorded in South Korea. The total number of registered patients in the country is 339,361, deaths – 2,626.
62.5% of residents were vaccinated. One dose of the vaccine was administered by 78.4%.
This month, the country began offering revaccination for the elderly and people with weakened immune systems.
