Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko called the only way to legally travel by train or intercity bus in Ukraine from October 21 to an unvaccinated person. It is from this day that the norms of passenger traffic will be significantly strengthened due to the difficult situation with the coronavirus.
Kyiv. Ukraine. Ukraine Gate – October 15, 2021 – Transportation
On the air of TSN Lyashko was asked whether it will be possible to get on long-distance transport if there is a need to visit the funeral of a relative or go for treatment. In response, he stated that if the trip was absolutely necessary and the passenger had not yet been vaccinated, he should take a negative test.
“Another option is to do a negative PCR test, which will work for 72 hours,” Lyashko said.
He added that the complexity of the “crazy” situation in Ukraine is not in the level of infection, but in the increase in the number of hospitalized, most of whom are unvaccinated.
“Infection figures alone do not indicate anything, today we are talking about hospitalization. Hospitalizations that are growing – this is an alarm signal. Today, at least 95% of hospitalized – unvaccinated. If we neglect vaccination, hospitalizations will increase, and this is the reason to declare a “red” level of epidemic danger, “says Lyashko.
We will remind, for the last days in Ukraine from a coronavirus more than 200 people died .
New rules of passenger traffic from October 21
