Police arrested a Malaysian citizen in connection with drug smuggling. He was detained on October 14 and will remain in custody until January.
The consignment of drugs was delivered to Australia by ship. The ship arrived in the port of Melbourne on September 29. There he was examined by law enforcement officers, as a result of which the police found heroin.
In July, a consignment of heroin worth a billion hryvnias was brought to Ukraine from Iran in brick models.
