Kyiv.Ukraine.Ukraine Gate. October 24,2021-In Ukraine, 20,791 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in the last 24 hours on October 23.
“During the past 24 hours, on October 23, 20,791 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 (including 1,533 children and 237 health workers) were recorded in Ukraine,” the statement said.
Also for the past day 5,924 people were hospitalized; fatalities – 386; recovered – 6,081 people.
During the whole pandemic in Ukraine, 2,769,405 people fell ill; recovered – 2,375,776 people; fatalities – 63,872; PCR tests were performed – 13,986,710.
According to the Ministry of Health, 8,890,454 people have been vaccinated since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, 8,890,452 of them received one dose, 6,963,577 people were fully immunized and received two doses (two of them received one dose abroad). A total of 15,854,029 vaccinations were performed.

Last day, 177,730 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. 129,530 people received one dose, 48,200 people were fully immunized.
The Ministry of Health added that 95% of those hospitalized with COVID-19 last week were unvaccinated.
