“On behalf of Ukraine’s Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal, I convened a meeting of the Committee on Technological Safety, Environmental and Emergency Situations,” Chernyshov said.
The epidemiological situation in Ukraine is difficult and the number of hospitalizations is increasing.
However, statistics also clearly show that vaccination saves from the dangerous course of the disease. In the fight against the COVID-19 epidemic, the priorities remain – strengthening anti-epidemic measures, increasing the number of tests and raising the vaccination rate.
The Kherson region moved to the red zone due to COVID-19 on October 15. On October 18, the red level of epidemiological danger was introduced in the Zaporizhzhya, Odessa, Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions, and from October 23 – in the Sumy region. On October 26, the regions of Rivne and Mykolaiv also moved into the red zone of COVID-19 restrictions.
