Kyiv.Ukraine.Ukraine Gate-October 27,2021- The National Museum of Art of Ukraine has announced the launch of an exclusive collection for NFT in collaboration with Estonia startup STAMPSDAQ.
Art experts, designers and programmers joined in their efforts to bring NFT’s unique digital collection of Ukrainian art to the Ukrainian public. And all those wishing to purchase NFT copies of artwork by Oleksandr Murashko, Oleksandra Ekster or Mykola Pymonenko will be able to do so after the official launch of the STAMPSDAQ Marketplace in early 2022.
This is because museums nowadays are looking for new ways and never shy away from different experiences to motivate TikTokers to visit exhibitions.
Moreover, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, reaching audiences has become an even greater challenge for museums.
At the same time, the statement adds, new technology allows culture to remain an important part of people’s lives, and thanks to the blockchain, almost anyone can obtain ownership rights to digital objects, including works of art.
Thanks to STAMPSDAQ, the NAMU Group will become even closer to a wider audience.
Very soon, NAMU, in cooperation with STAMPSDAQ, will release exclusive NFT codes for the best examples of Ukrainian art. The Museum will receive 10% of the royalties from the price of each token.
NFTs by Oleksandr Murashko, Oleksandra Ekster, Mykola Pymonenko, Vsevolod Maksymovych and others will be available on the STAMPSDAQ trading platform in 2022. Each digital copy will be available in five rare levels: Common, Rare, Extremely Rare, Extremely Rare, and Unique. The designers are currently working on the animation elements for the NFTs.
Modern technologies are removing boundaries and helping classical art break down the walls of tradition. The collaboration between NAMU and STAMPSDAQ is also valuable to the Museum. Thanks to this, our museum will become much closer to people all over the world,” emphasized Yulia Litvinets, Director General of NAMU.
After the official launch of the STAMPSDAQ Marketplace, its blockchain ecosystem will allow the purchase of NFT art and licensed NFT versions of postage stamps. In this way, the startup aims not only to increase interest in classical art, but also to develop global stamps in the NFT format.
STAMPSDAQ also plans to launch a crowdfunding campaign in early December. A special issuance of exclusive NFT tokens for early adopters and NFT collectors will be organized on the Binance NFT Marketplace.
NAMU is the oldest museum in Kiev, opened in 1899. It possesses a unique collection of Ukrainian paintings, graphic images, sculptures, and icons, some of which date back to the era of Kievan Rus’. Museum funds contain more than 40,000 items.
