“About 26,071 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 (including 1,830 cases of children and 47 cases of health care workers) were recorded in Ukraine on October 27, 2021,” the report said.
According to the report, 576 coronavirus-related deaths, 5,366 hospitalizations and 1,006 recoveries were recorded in Ukraine on October 27.
Nearly 285,804 people in Ukraine have contracted the virus, 241,711 people have recovered, and 66,204 people have died since the pandemic began.
And 291,985 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in Ukraine on October 27. About 212,684 people received their first dose, and 79,301 people were fully vaccinated.
A total of 16,793,558 doses have been vaccinated in Ukraine since the COVID-19 vaccination campaign was launched, with 9,576,175 people receiving their first dose and 7,217,383 people receiving both doses (two people receiving their first dose abroad).
About 94% of those hospitalized with COVID-19 last week had not been vaccinated.
Also, a total of 22574 cases of novel coronavirus infection were recorded in Ukraine on October 26.
