Kyiv.Ukraine.Ukraine Gate – October 31,2021- Construction companies of Ukraine in 2021 increased the volume of work performed compared to the same period in 2020. At the same time, the growth rate of housing construction in Ukraine decreased to almost zero.
This was reported by Gosstat. We tell how the index of building products changed during the three quarters of 2021.
Compared to September last year, the construction of residential buildings for the same period increased by 1.7%. The volume of construction of non-residential facilities decreased by 4.4%, and in January – September – by 2%. Civil engineering increased by 18% in 1 month and by 1.3% in 9 months.
According to statistics, 149.1 billion hryvnia was spent on construction work in the January-September 2021 period.
Where the volume of construction production reached 33.1%;
• repairs (capital and current) – 41.3%;
• Reconstruction and technical re-equipment – 25.6%.
The highest growth rates of construction work performed in 9 months of 2021 were observed in the Ternopil (54.2%), Cherkassy (32.8%) and Odessa (24%) regions. The most significant decreases were in Chernivtsi (-39.1%), Zakarpattia (-30%) and Kirovohrad (-27.7%).
